Purpose
To quantify ecophysiological responses to long-term variation in climate
To quantify landscape-scale exchange of carbon dioxide, water vapour and energy in a sub-alpine environment
To utilise data to further develop an understanding of the potential dynamics of stored soil carbon in a changing climate
To utilise data to further understand hydrological yield
To provide ecophysiological and micrometeorological data representative of high elevation grassland biomes within Australia
To provide supplementary data to ancillary research programmes quantifying ecophysiological drivers of greenhouse gas production and soil organic carbon dynamics
To provide enhanced datasets of landscape-scale exchange of carbon dioxide, water vapour and energy along with ecophysiological characteristics and drivers in high country (coupled with Dargo High Plains) and grassland (coupled with Dargo and Hamersley sites) systems in Australia.
