Introduction

The Yanco flux station is located approximately 37km south west of Narrandera, in the Yanco region of New South Wales.

It was established in April 2012 as an addition to part of an ongoing project run with the Japanese Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA external link).

The primary investigators on the project are Jeffrey Walker, Jason Beringer, Christoph RĂ¼diger & Edoardo Daly. Contributors to the site are Gift Dumedah, Alessandra Monerris-Belda, Mei Sun Yee, Frank Winston, Tim Lubcke & Darren Hocking. The site is managed by The University of Western Australia external link.

TheYanco flux station is part of the Australia Flux Tower network (OzFlux) and the international FLUXNET external link. This site also contributes to the Australian Terrestrial Ecosystem Research Network TERN external link.
