Introduction

The Kopuatai research site is located within the 100km2 Kopuatai raised peat bog in the lower Hauraki Plains, Waikato, NZ.

The eddy covariance tower was established in November 2011, and is managed by the Department of Earth and Ocean Sciences , University of Waikato .

The research is funded via a subcontract to Manaaki Whenua - Landcare Research . Equipment was funded by grants from the University of Waikato.
