Introduction

The Riggs Creek flux station is located within the Goulburn-Broken catchment, approximately 40km south east of Shepparton, Victoria. 

It was established in November 2010 and is managed by Monash University external link.

The Riggs Creek Flux Station is part of a larger program, The Carbon Project external link. The flux station is part of the Australia Flux Tower network (OzFlux) and the international FLUXNET external link.

This site contributes to the Australian Terrestrial Ecosystem Research Network TERN external link. It is funded though an ARC Linkage grant, in conjunction with generous contributions from the Victorian Department of Sustainability external link, Catchment Management Authorities external link, EPA Victoria external link and Kilter Pty Ltd.
